ASSEMBLE KITS

Hosting a donation drive or wanting to get a group of people together to support local homeless initiatives? Assembling kits is a great hands-on activity for people of all ages (kids too!). Whether it be a lightweight and intentional bag of snack foods or move-in supplies, your support is appreciated. Below are some kit ideas that are useful for our teams to distribute as well as their approximate cost.

DONATION DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Collect and count all the kits you and/or your team assembled.

  2. Schedule a time to drop them off.

  3. Remember to take photos of your assembly activities and tag City Net on social media (e.g., @CityNetHomelessServices).

TIPS: Add a personal touch to every kit you assemble by writing a Note of Compassion. Index or postcard-size notes are the best. Make it personal by signing your first name (only) at the end of the message. Please keep letters generic for people of all genders and faiths.

Here are some examples of what to write:
“WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO HAVE A NEW HOME!”
”YOU ARE THOUGHT OF AND CARED ABOUT.”
”YOU ARE LOVED!”
