City Net Ambassador
Location: Flood Control Channel (FCC)/Santa Ana Riverbed
Requirements: On-going; Once a week; 4 hour shifts; ages 18+
Support our efforts with operationally-based outreach, including initiating and building relationships with FCC residents to connect them with City Net Collaborative Case Managers and partnering organizations.

Appointment Chaperones
Location: Courtyard
Requirements: On-going; Once a week on Wednesdays; 8 am – 1 pm; ages 18+
Accompany residents to important appointments at places like the DMV, Social Security office, etc. Volunteers for this role would carpool with the residents in the HCA Van.

Meal Providers
Location: Courtyard
Requirements: On-going; Once a week
Meal providers purchase, cook, prepare, transport and serve meals for the 300 residents of the Courtyard. Read more about becoming a Meal Provider at the Courtyard for details and times commitments. Any volunteers who come on-site to serve the food must be 18 years of age or older. Volunteers who help purchase, cook and prepare food can be of any age.

Meal Liaisons
Location: Courtyard
Requirements: On-going; Once a week; 7 – 9 am, 11 – 1 pm or 4 – 6 pm; ages 18+
We are in search of committed individuals to perform a variety of duties to support our scheduled Meal Providers. These duties include greeting and assisting all meal and service providers during scheduled shifts, serving the food when meal volunteers are short-handed, ensuring that safe food handling is being practiced, completing daily meal log with meal and volunteer counts, and other basic duties.

Volunteer Policies
We do not allow any minors under the age of 18 to volunteer (with or without adult supervision).

At the Courtyard, we do not allow any videotaping or photography to protect the privacy of residents. The only exceptions are group photos of the volunteers, which must be taken by a staff member.
