City Net has partnered with the City of Anaheim since January 2014. In the last few years, City Net has led the Anaheim Homeless Collaborative, which includes representatives from various city departments, Anaheim Police Department, nonprofits, school districts, health care systems, businesses and the faith community. The individuals and groups within this collaborative effort have worked together to move over 700 homeless neighbors off the streets and into transitional or permanent housing.

City Net’s homeless outreach team consists of Collaborative Case Managers that partner up with Anaheim PD’s Homeless Liaison Officers weekly to conduct street outreach throughout the city and connect those in need to the resources available. City Net also works closely with the Anaheim Housing Authority to provide housing opportunities to Anaheim’s homeless population. In November of 2016, City Net, Anaheim PD and the City of Anaheim conducted the first homeless census, resulting in 797 homeless neighbors surveyed over a week.
